03/05/2016 - Protéus: « When plastic waste is directly converted into bioplastic... »
In the objective to bring recycling rates of PET from 30% to 50%, and PU from 5% to 70% (EU target for 2020), PROTEUS is involved in the European Project P4SB (From
Plastic waste to
Plastic value using
Pseudomonas
putida
Synthetic
Biology).
Our role is to develop and insert tailored enzymes for efficient biotransformation within synthetic biology tools.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No 633962.
